ACTION REQUIRED AUGUST 17:

  • Deadline for REALTOR® MLSs to implement policy changes pursuant to mandatory NAR policy.
  • New NAR MLS Policy takes effect to implement practice changes.
  • Earliest date for Plaintiffs to issue class notice.

    FORM CHANGES:

    On July 10, C.A.R. will post the forms related to the practice changes associated with the NAR settlement on its website. The forms will be released in zipForms® and other forms platforms on July 24. More information HERE.

    • To be in full compliance by August 17, when the mandates of the NAR settlement go into effect, C.A.R. states that it is imperative that members are ready to use the new forms and prepared to discuss the changes with their clients. C.A.R. will be providing training opportunities to members on the use of these forms.

    FOR BROKERS/MANAGERS:

    Industry Leader Town Halls are held via Zoom usually twice a month from 11:00am to 12:30pm and provide an opportunity for brokers and key brokerage staff to meet virtually with C.A.R. Leadership, C.A.R. staff and brokers throughout the state to discuss the latest information impacting real estate brokerages and transactions.
